Easy one first, can you tell me your name and your business?
My name is Quanda R. Graves. The name of my business
is QS Simple Treasures Greetings & Collections.

What is your USP (Unique selling proposition) or the 30 second elevator pitch
you would use to describe your business and what makes it special to a
stranger?
QS Simple Treasures Greetings & Collections is a company dedicated to greetings and gift ideas. We have greetings that are thematic, hand drawn illustrated with messages that are clear and concise with your
heart in mind, at golden aged prices. They are small greetings with very BIG
sentiments.
We have our oolong tea that is healthy for you, the taste and aroma are nothing short of amazing and autographed poems with great messages of inspiration make for wonderful gifts and much more.
Our motto says: You don't need a holiday to celebrate a loved one. Celebrate everyday because tomorrow is not promised. That's what makes us different.

What’s your background? What inspired you to start your business? How did you
get to where you are today?
3a. My background consists of many things: Author,
poet, journalist and a businesswoman who loves creativity and art.
3b. What
inspired me to start my own business? Well, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial
spirit. My family always had something they were doing outside of their jobs.
As I grew older I started to see, learn the true value of just what
entrepreneurial really meant and I’ve worked to create that for me, and having
my own business has been my dream. I now run under the moniker of creative business is my
business.
3c. I landed here today by plan and action (along with a whole lot of
prayer). LOL! Oh and of course, passion, belief in myself, my dreams with
drive, ambition and determination.

How does your experience help you run your business?
Outside
of being an author, poet, journalist and current businesswoman, I’ve held a few
corporate positions and those positions past and present is what helps me run
my business. The skill set for those positions require organization, budget
management, customer service, have the ability to cultivate and maintain
relationships. As well as schedule travel arrangements, meetings, management expertise,
articulate visions, ideas and suggestions, Microsoft Office and so much more.
However, to condense, all of those elements, I’m rooted from, that’s what I apply
to my business, that’s how I administer my endeavors.

Tell us about your products or the services you offer? What are they? What
makes them stand out from your competitors?
QS Simple Treasures Greetings & Collections
consists of a couple of products and building. So far they are the following:
1. Dreams “Are Meant To Be Lived” Oolong Tea, which is seasonal and hosted
every year September – January with pre-orders July and August. 2. The newly
launched thematic hand drawn illustrated poetically versed greeting cards. 3.
Last but not at all least we have our very own line of cups hitting the summer
2020. What makes my products stand out from our competitors (although I don’t
view business that way) are a few things: Uniqueness, price point and approaches
in regard to our marketing strategy.

If you had to pick 3 or 4 highlights or “best bits” of your business to point
out to a customer, what would you tell them?
The best bits to point out to customers would be the
following: Our greetings are cute/ golden age priced with short and sweet
messages that leave a big impact long after. If we discuss the Dreams “Are
Meant To Be Lived” Oolong Tea, those best bits would be; it’s linked to a
message that everyone can apply in life, you can’t get the tea any where else and it’s amazingly delicious and comes with its own poem, provided the package you choose.
